Nominations have begun for the 2011 SoMe Awards. You have until April 01, 2011 to submit your best work and be considered as a finalist for this year’s awards. The awards are open this year to ANY campaign that was launched during 2010. The award winners will be announced at a reception in Portland, Oregon on Thursday April 21st at The Fez ballroom. Last year we had a great turn out. Some of the highlights included StepChange Group with McKinney Travelocity winning the “Sugar Daddy” award for their Roaming Gnome Cabin Fever Campaign. The “People’s Choice” award went to Bonfire Social Media for their promotion of Mio Gelato. The judge’s pick for “Best in Show” was taken by PMSI Air New Zealand for the Facebook game “Jump Seat”. Mambo Media took the “House Party” award as the best agency in 2010 and Taplister was the “Next Big Thing” with their Web and iPhone app that helps beer drinkers find their next pint.
