2012 SoMe Awards Honors Best Social Media Campaigns: And the winner is…

| May 4, 2012 | 2 Comments

The 4th annual SoMe Awards were a SMASH success! The best and brightest social media marketers in the industry rocked the Fez Ballroom to honor their peers. KGW was there broadcasting LIVE and their very own, Stephanie Stricklen, did an amazing job as show host.

ISITE design set-up their FUN photo-booth, where attendees had a blast (hah!) tweeting out hilarious photos using their hashtag, #photoblast.

The evening took on a more serious tone as McCann Erickson NY received an award for the Trayvon Martin/Million Hoodies Campaign. The campaign strategist, Daniel Maree, expressed his appreciation for the win via Skype. It was a sobering moment and and an eloquent reminder of  the true power of social media.

Also a big winner at this years awards, Mambo Media, AGAIN took home the agency of they year award. They featured campaigns for Bob’s Red Mill, Vestas and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. We would like to CONGRATULATE all of this year’s social media award winners, and applaud the creative teams behind all of the campaigns.
