Mobile Marketing: The Most Effective Channel Ever?

I got into an argument with a marketer friend of mine recently. We were sitting at the SES New York show and he was arguing that mobile marketing is the most effective marketing method ever. He argued that mobile marketing produced more measurable results more quickly than any other marketing channel in the history of the world, or universe.  I disagreed.

    Well i read the points, i appreciate your creation but sorry i am disagree with the ratio of 90% of searches go to action, i think it can’t be b/c sometime sample data  can not be so right,ok but it is good point that local searches have effect and it is good option for local business to use mobile marketing. Nowadays every business don’t leave any marketing strategy, they also do digital marketing, regular marketing and media advertisement etc..

    The data comes from Clickz.  Whethere the number is precisely accurate or not doesn’t really matter.  The point is that Local Mobile Searches have incredible response rates.  We see this in our call tracking, we see this on google and data is showing up all over.  The take away is to make sure you provide a trackable call to action and most often on mobile local search, the best call to action is a clickable call tracking number. http://www.clickz.com/clickz/column/2072688/stats-mobile-search
