With Google’s search results changing on an almost daily basis, it’s more important than ever for businesses and marketers to develop a comprehensive strategy for their presence in the world’s most-used search engine. SEMpdx, Portland’s search engine marketing trade association, will moderate a panel on the different types of Google results that play into its “universal” algorithm, including Paid, Real-time, Social, and Local search. Free or low-cost tools that businesses can take advantage of in their marketing campaigns will be highlighted. Instructors from PSU’s Digital Marketing Strategies certificate program will participate in the panel.
